Answers to the questions we’re asked most often about buying a vintage watch from Mwaison — servicing, condition, shipping, returns and payment. If your question isn’t covered here, get in touch and we’ll help directly.
Are your watches genuine and in working order?
Yes. Every watch we sell is inspected and mechanically serviced by us before it’s listed. We check movement accuracy, water resistance where applicable, case and bracelet condition, and originality of parts. Each listing describes exactly what has been done and what to expect from the piece.
What does “serviced” actually mean?
See our Our Servicing Process page for the full four-step process we follow: inspection, mechanical service, testing, and documentation. Every watch we sell has been through this before it reaches you.
Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?
We ship insured and tracked across the European Union. Domestic (Netherlands) shipping is €9.95; shipping to the rest of the EU is €24.95. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
Can I return a watch if it’s not right for me?
Yes. As an EU consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your order, no reason required. See our Shipping & Returns page for the full process and condition requirements for returning a unique, previously-worn item.
What warranty do you offer?
Every watch comes with a 12-month Mwaison warranty covering the mechanical service we performed, on top of your statutory rights as an EU consumer. Details are on our Warranty page.
How can I pay?
We accept iDEAL and major credit and debit cards through our secure checkout, processed by Mollie. All prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT under the margin scheme for second-hand goods.
