12 months, no fine print theatre

Every watch sold by Mwaison comes with a 12-month warranty on the mechanical movement, counted from the day of delivery. It exists because every movement we sell has been serviced and tested by a professional watchmaker — we know what condition it left in, so we stand behind it.

What is covered

Defects in the functioning of the movement under normal use: the watch stopping, running significantly outside the tolerances noted in its service report, or a failure of a serviced component. If that happens, we repair the watch at no cost — parts, labour and insured shipping both ways within the EU included.

What is not covered

Damage from impact, water or magnetism; damage caused by opening the case or work performed by a third party during the warranty period; normal wear of straps, crystals and finishes; and the natural ageing — patina — that makes a vintage watch what it is. Please note most vintage watches should be treated as not water-resistant, whatever the dial once claimed.

How to claim

Email hello@mwaison.com with your order number and a short description (a photo or video helps). We respond within one to two business days with a prepaid, insured shipping label and a realistic estimate of the repair time — vintage parts sometimes take patience.

Your legal rights

This warranty comes on top of, and never limits, your statutory rights as an EU consumer — including the legal conformity guarantee for used goods and the 14-day right of withdrawal described on our shipping & returns page.
