Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Mwaison (“we”, “us”, “our”), based at Loopkantstraat 16, 5405AC Uden, the Netherlands, collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit mwaison.com or place an order with us. What personal data we collect
When you browse our site, contact us, create an account or place an order, we may collect: your name, delivery and billing address, email address and phone number; order and purchase history; account login details; messages you send us through our contact form; and technical data such as IP address, browser type and cookie identifiers. We do not collect or store your payment card or bank details — these are handled directly by our payment provider, Mollie.
Why we process your data
We use your personal data to fulfil and deliver your orders, process payments, provide customer support, meet our legal and tax obligations (including keeping financial records for the period required by Dutch law), protect our site against fraud and abuse, and — only with your consent — to show relevant content or communicate with you for marketing purposes. Our legal bases are performance of a contract with you, compliance with a legal obligation, our legitimate interest in running a secure and reliable store, and your consent where required, for example for non-essential cookies.
Who we share your data with
We share personal data only where necessary to run our business: with Mollie, to process your payment; with our shipping carrier, to deliver your order; with our hosting provider, Strato, which stores our website and data on EU-based servers; and with tools we use for site security and performance. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Cookies
We use cookies to run our store, remember your basket, and — with your consent — to understand how our site is used. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through the consent banner shown when you first visit. Full details are on our Cookie Policy page.
How long we keep your data
We keep order and invoice data for as long as required by Dutch tax law (currently seven years). Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@mwaison.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, including a firewall and site-security monitoring, to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
