1. Products
We sell vintage and pre-owned watches. Every listing concerns one specific, individual watch — the exact piece shown in the photographs, described honestly including visible wear. Vintage watches are decades old: normal traces of age and use are inherent to the product and do not constitute a defect. Unless expressly stated otherwise, vintage watches should be treated as not water-resistant.
2. Prices and payment
All prices are in euros, all-in: no VAT is shown separately because our watches are sold under the margin scheme for second-hand goods (margeregeling); VAT is accounted for on the margin and is not deductible for the buyer. Payment is handled by our payment provider (iDEAL, major cards and other methods shown at checkout). Orders ship after payment is received in full.
3. Shipping
We ship fully insured and tracked across the European Union, with signature on delivery. Shipping timelines and costs are stated on the Shipping & Returns page. Risk transfers to you upon delivery.
4. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
As an EU consumer you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery, without giving a reason. Notify us within that period by email at hello@mwaison.com (you may use the EU model withdrawal form, available on the Shipping & Returns page) and return the watch within 14 days of your notice, in the condition received, with all accessories and documentation. Return shipping must be insured to the full purchase value; the direct cost of the return is borne by you. We refund the full purchase price including original standard shipping within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the original payment method — we may withhold the refund until the watch is back or you prove you have sent it. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is needed to establish the nature and functioning of the watch.
5. Warranty and conformity
Every watch carries our 12-month mechanical warranty as described on the Warranty page. This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights under EU and Dutch consumer law, including the legal conformity guarantee for second-hand goods. Given the age of the products, conformity is assessed against what may reasonably be expected of a serviced watch of that age, type and price.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the watch concerned. We are not liable for damage caused by use contrary to the care instructions provided (including exposure to water or magnetism, or servicing by third parties).
7. Complaints and disputes
If something is wrong, email hello@mwaison.com — we respond within two business days and will always try to resolve matters directly first. These terms are governed by Dutch law; disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
